These birds are called, “The Bum Wigglers.” They are in a story about a bully with one big
red squiggly curl hair-do. But that’s all I am going to reveal. Ok, well the birds turn him into an
un-bully. That’s it, no more intel. ;)
Does anyone here like Frank Asch? I do. He writes books about bears, specifically one called, Moon Bear published in 1972.
This bear, we’ll call him Fred for now was inspired by Frank’s drawings of bears.
I love this adorable bird. She’s gets into some big trouble though and almost loses her life!
There’s a fox, an elephant and a jerky duck who pretend to be her friends. But her real friends are the baby cows.
These are two twins and their perfect cousin who tries to imitate everything they do.
Drawing the raccoon brothers was a lot of fun. I drew them by hand on large paper so I could get loose
with the line, then colored them digitally. So, I combined two different methods involving digits. Get it?
These ladybugs are two of my favorites. I like the character designs, but really enjoy the oil painterly technique.
Then there’s this guy, creepy six-legged tarantula. Ick.
So heartwarming, I could just hug myself.
